South and east of downtown, reserve an airport transfer from Blue Springs to MCI

Over the Bond Bridge (I-29 and I-35)

Five places on the south and east edge of the metro reach the airport by a single bridge, and this page follows that drive. Grandview, Blue Springs, Belton, Grain Valley and Raymore all cross the Missouri River on the Bond Bridge. Send one request for an airport transfer from Blue Springs to MCI, or from any of the other four, and the office emails you a car company's written fare before anything is reserved.

CE Travel Services is an independently owned booking office in Kansas City. From Grandview to Raymore, the driving is done by the company named on your written fare, which charges its own fixed rate; you pay that company, and the office receives a set fee from it.

One bridge for all five drives

Grandview, Blue Springs, Belton, Grain Valley and Raymore sit south of the Missouri River, and MCI sits on its north side. Each of these drives meets the river at the Bond Bridge, which carries I-29 and I-35 across, then keeps on north to the upper level of the terminal, where the car leaves you at the departures curb. Your neighbors in Independence, Raytown and Lee's Summit cross farther east, at the I-435 bridge near Claycomo, and their own page covers the airport transfer from Independence to MCI.

Measured at a quiet hour, Grandview is the nearest of the five at 36.1 road miles and about 51 minutes. Blue Springs comes next at 38.8 miles and about 54 minutes, then Belton at 41.4 miles and about 59, Grain Valley at 42.9 miles and about 57, and Raymore last at 43.5 miles and about 61 minutes. The evening rush adds about half again to any of those drives, so a pickup time that lands in it needs room for the longer road.

Ready at the door before the car

On this approach the car comes to the address written on your request. Once you accept the written fare, the company taking the ride confirms the pickup time with you in writing, and that message is the one to keep at hand. By the pickup time, it helps to have a few things settled:

  • Bags closed and waiting near the door
  • Your own child seat, if you are bringing one
  • The phone whose number is on the request, switched on
  • A note on the request if a service animal rides with you
  • Any second stop already shown as its own line in the fare

Back from MCI to Belton or Blue Springs

On the way back south, the flight number on the request lets the company follow the flight, and the written fare sets out how long the driver waits once you land and the cost of waiting longer. You meet the car at posts 3J to 3N on the Commercial Curb; the airport pickup at the arrivals curb at MCI page takes you there step by step from baggage claim. With the call and text box ticked, the company tells you by text that the car has arrived, and by email without it. The drive then runs back over the Bond Bridge, about 51 minutes to Grandview and 61 to Raymore when traffic is light. If your plans shift, tell the office or the company, and nothing is settled until the company's written confirmation of the pickup reaches you.

Grandview at one end, Raymore at the other

Every figure in the table is per car, each way, and a sedan carries up to 3 passengers while an SUV carries up to 6. Grandview, the nearest place, starts from $160 for a sedan; Raymore, the farthest, starts from $175 for a sedan. So when this approach reads from $160 for a sedan and from $190 for an SUV, the word from points at Grandview, and the airport transfer rates to MCI per car page shows the figure for every place in the metro.

Each printed figure is where the fare for the ride itself starts for that place; the written fare from the car company for your date and pickup time is what you accept. The figure covers the drive, the fuel, the car for you alone and the waiting time named on the written fare. Tips sit outside the printed figure, and a company whose rate includes a gratuity names it on the written fare, where you read it before agreeing. Extra stops, waiting past the time the fare names, the airport trip fee if the company adds one and a child seat if the company charges for it each appear on a line of their own as well. The figure holds in every week of the year, and the written fare tells you if the company's rate differs on a holiday date.

When a company takes your request, the office emails you that company's fixed rate for your car in writing, line by line, before you say yes. Until you accept, you can withdraw the request at any time and nothing is owed. After you accept, the car company's own cancellation terms apply, and they are printed in that written fare, so you read them before you say yes.

Reserve the car for your pickup time

A page about one road ends with the request, because the request is what starts a ride. Send it as soon as you know the flight; the office then emails back a written fare, or says plainly whether a company has a car.

Free quote, no obligation: the car company's fixed rate comes back in writing before anything is booked, and no card number is asked for. Sending this asks the office for a written fare from a local car company and, once you say yes, to reserve the ride with that company; nothing is held in your name until that company confirms it to you in writing. Sending accepts the terms of a request and the privacy page.
